FRIENDSHIP EXPERIENCE RSVP
For 30 years, Children’s Cup has been a relationally-driven organization, collaborating with partners and sponsors to bring life-changing resources to children in need around the world.
The Children’s Cup Friendship Model pairs a donor to a CarePoint of their choice in mutually rewarding connection. Monthly donations are pooled with other donations to fund development projects that benefit children enrolled in our programs, their families, their community, and other children in need — ensuring every donation has maximum impact.
HOW DOES FRIENDSHIP WORK?
Instead of matching one sponsor to one child, Children’s Cup Friends (formerly called Sponsors) will now have the opportunity to support and engage with a whole close-knit Children’s Cup community including the children enrolled in our programs and the caretakers, support staff and volunteers. Friends will have a front row seat witnessing collective life transformation through our unique Friendship dashboard, which makes back-and-forth communication and engagement accessible to both Friends and the individuals within our Children’s Cup communities.
WHY
FRIENDSHIP?
Jesus believed friendship could change someone’s life. So do we.
Simply put, Jesus modeled the importance of community and honored God through his friendships during his time on earth. He sought out the least desirable and the forgotten and placed eternal value on their lives, eternally and publicly, through His friendship. So we thought we should do that too. If it was important to Jesus, it should be important to us.
We are better together.
God designed us to thrive in the context of life-giving relationships. We aim to provide a platform for donors and communities to engage, share one another’s burdens and celebrate one another’s wins. We believe our Friendship model honors God, honors one another, and creates a mutually beneficial ecosystem for every individual participating regardless of their socio-economic status or geographic location.
YOUR FRIENDSHIP WILL CHANGE A CHILD’S LIFE. BUT IT WILL ALSO CHANGE YOURS.
Believe us — every child in our program has the potential to impact your life. These world-changers and their communities are down-right inspiring. They will give you hope, inspire you to dream bigger and challenge you to change the world around you. Friendship with Children’s Cup is a mutually rewarding connection.
